Today is the 50th Aniv of the Munich Crash. Man United wore the 1958 jersey with no adverts and just plain red and white.
It was a a derby game and City Blue took the lead 2-0 and half time. It would not be United's day. Rooney was on the bench due to suspension after picking up 5 yellows. Tavez and Ronaldo upfront with Scholes in the middle with Nani. Vidic and Rio in the middle with OShea and Brown doing full back duty. Giggs and Park were there.. Crowd was 30 short of 76,000.
